Alex Louise at Albury Festival

24 Jul

A little late with my blog but better late than never! What a fantastic day Sunday was at Albury Festival! The sun was shining…everyone was in happy spirits : ) It was a beautiful day!

I really enjoyed performing and have had lots of fantastic feedback from members of the crowd.  I performed early, at 2.30pm which meant I got to relax and enjoy the rest of the day.

The fabulous Harun (my bass player and who also produced my EP) performed first with his band ‘Harun’. They were awesome! I always enjoy seeing them play, they are a 3 piece but create such an amazing full and phat sound!

I really enjoyed Jay Butler’s set on the catwalk. He has an awesome voice and had a great vibe about him.

The Nameless Girl were just sensational…I do not have the words to describe them…they are just complete quality! I love their album and it was fantastic seeing them live!

The lovely Ryan John sung who I have performed alongside a few times before now. His first track ‘Invincible’ always gets me. I love it! In fact, I might listen to his EP ‘Se7en’ right now.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Steve Rodgers! Always love seeing him play and his EP is still on repeat in my car. Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already!

There were so many fantastic performers on Sunday…above is just a selection of some who stuck out to me. It was a fantastic day and I am looking forward to next year already, whether I am there in the audience or on the stage : )

Many thanks to the Albury Festival Committee for having me : )
